Long before T. Rex, Allosaurus ruled the late Jurassic as its apex predator. It was fast, cooperative possibly, and its skull was designed to act like a hatchet — driving down into prey rather than crushing. It was a different style of dominance entirely.
Every era gets the apex predator it deserves.
