The Tyrannosaurus Rex — tyrant lizard king — ruled the late Cretaceous with absurd authority. Those tiny arms have been the subject of much mockery, but the jaw was doing the real work. A bite force estimated at over 8,000 pounds per square inch. It didn’t need arms.
There’s something oddly instructive about T. Rex. All your apparent weaknesses don’t matter much if you’re genuinely excellent at the thing that counts.
